It’s September 22nd, that means it’s the first day of FALL!
I used to dread this time of year. The cold weather, going back to school, layers and layers of clothing either not keeping me warm enough or making me break out in a sweat.
Now I love fall and look forward to it because I love exploring the new stuff with Alexis and watching her explore all the new stuff happening. I also look forward to all the family gatherings because Alexis seems to love them!
I think her favorite part of Fall so far are the changing leaves. She gets so excited seeing the new colorful leaves.
Since she is getting older and I am working as hard as I can with her to let her have good experiences outside of the home, interact with other kids and learn as much as she can then I have put together a fall bucket list so that I have my ideas in order for what all I want to see with her this year!
I have a life bucket list and that’s full of out-of-this-world ideas like sky-diving that will probably never happen.
Our fall bucket list is simple though! So I see no reason that we can’t accomplish it.
- Go to a pumpkin patch
- Have a bonfire
- Watch Hocus Pocus
- Carve Pumpkins
- Roast Marshmallows
- Dress up for Halloween ✔
- Decorate for Fall ✔
- Bake Caramel Apple Crumb!
- Go apple picking
- Take a day trip to the mountains
- Make rice krispy treats
- Visit a fall festival
- Go on a hay ride ✔
- Visit the State Fair
- Burn some new candles!
- Make a caramel smoothie
- Make fall shaped cookies
- Make some Caramel Apple Sangria!
- Do lots of fall painting and activities with Alexis ✔
I think this is all do-able. As I accomplish them, I will write a post on how it went and the task will be turned into a link!
I am super stoked to try the recipes (especially the sangria!) and I hope I can get some new fall scented candles soon to spruce up my home! I have decorated for fall somewhat and I will be posting about all that soon because I have decorated dollar store style and saved loads of money!
I would love to hear some of the things you hope to do with your significant other/family for this fall! So make sure you drop it in the comments below!
