Halfway through October and I’m just now getting to this? Oh my goodness!

That’s okay. There’s still plenty of time to get these awesome Halloween movies in!

1. Halloweentown!

Halloweentown and Halloweentown II: Kalabars Revenge are a must! These are probably considered “old school” favorites. I don’t know. I don’t feel like I’ve hit “old school” age yet. They are older, the quality isn’t what people are used to now, but the humor is there and they’re awesome halloween movies for the family!

2. Hocus Pocus

I think pretty much everyone I know loves to watch Hocus Pocus around Halloween time. It’s got all your halloween stuff. Witches brewing a potion, black cat…. Its an awesome halloween favorite!

3. It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown

Seriously, are you even human if you haven’t seen all the Charlie Brown movies?!
I don’t care how old I am, I will always love It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

4. Hotel Transylvania

If you have a kid, which I’m assuming you do if you’re on a mom blog. Then you NEED to watch Hotel Transylvania with them! I never thought I would care about any new kid movies that come out. Let’s face it, none can compare to the awesome 90’s movies. However, this one is SUPER adorable. I actually don’t loathe watching it with Alexis. Until she wants to watch it for the 10th time the same week. But seriously, totally worth watching.

5. BeetleJuice

Beetlejuice is a classic! This is a must-watch for the spooky season! Love, love, love me some Beetlejuice!

Your turn!

What are some of your favorite spooky movies? I mainly know about the ones for the whole family, except I don’t think I would let my 2-year-old watch BeetleJuice…

I have seen “scary” movies such as all the Saw movies. But other than that, I just watch stuff for kids/family. So let me know what I’m missing out on and what movies I need to see! (:
