No Excuses Water Challenge!

I have a huge (for me) announcement!

I am doing the 30 Day Water Challenge!

Drinking water has many perks. So I am taking the No Excuses 30 Day Water Challenge! - - #water #drink #waterlogged #yum #healthy #health

I usually am an avid sweet tea drinker. I am from the south after all. I love a little tea with my sugar.

However, I stumbled upon one of The Naughty Mommy’s posts about her Operation Chug-A-Lug where she drank a gallon of water a day for 30 days. She updated each week to tell how it helped. She was pregnant during her time of doing it so it helped the protein in her urine go away, helped her chapped lips, the dark circles and helped her skin look so amazing! Just look!

I am having issues with my chapped lips, oily skin, hair looking like a mess; oily on top & dry on the ends, and I have dry skin. Not to mention what I think is fat may just be bloat! So we are going to try this water challenge and see what happens!

The Naughty Mommy did 10 tips to make drinking a gallon of water easier and I am going to use the tip I think will help me the most – the Waterlogged app. I already have it downloaded on my phone with alerts set to come on every 2 hours beginning at 11:30am. I also have my handy dandy 24oz Real Tree Pink Camo Tervis ready to go and the size of the cup programmed in the app to make it easier to log my progress!

I am super excited to do this water challenge!

I want to be healthier. I need to get back in shape. My kid is about to turn 3. I shouldn’t still have “baby fat” hanging around. Maybe it’s just called “lazy fat” at this point? I don’t know.

I will be using you guys as accountability partners because I will be logging my successes (and failures) each week & I don’t want to let you guys down, so I hope to just come back with successes.

I absolutely love my Tervis Tumblr and totally recommend them for this water challenge. They’re durable and come in so many different styles and colors. I don’t know about you, but if I have a cute cup, I am more likely to drink from it more. Crazy? Maybe so. But it works for me!

So heres to drinking almost nothing but water for the next 30 days!
(& wine. I will have a bit of wine.) 😉

    Drinking more water sounds like a great challenge! I find that adding a little lemon or making infused water with things like frozen berries helps me drink more of it. And I love seltzer water because the bubbles remind me of soda. 🙂

      I have actually never tried seltzer water.😮 But I’m also not a total fan of any soda except Mt. Dew and Dr. Pepper. Haha. Maybe it wouldn’t be for me. But lemon in water is good!!😋
