Before getting our Mazey-Maze, I would have thought a subscription box for a dog is a little weird. However, now I understand. Dogs become one of your children! I love our little pup and I want to spoil her!
I love our little pup and I want to spoil her! So I reached out to Pooch Perks and they agreed to send me a box for $1 for my review. Even though I received the box for $1, all thoughts/concerns I share with you will be 100% my own.
Note: If you decide you want to try this box, use code “RUFF14” for 14% off your first order.

Pooch Perks Shipping
I feel the need to start out with how long it took to get the box. How long it takes for me to get something that I have ordered greatly affects whether I will order from the company again, or not.
I placed my order for their “Pampered Pooch” box on the 6th of February and received it on the 13th. So it only took 7 days to get here. Definitely impressed.
**Note: They have recently redone their website and they have changed the names of their boxes. You can see their new boxes and prices here.

What’s in Pooch Perks?
In their about section, they state that they give preference to USA suppliers for the toys and their treats do come from USA suppliers. I love that they support the USA companies. I also love that the treats I received in my box were healthy and natural. Like I stated above, my dog is another child and I try hard to keep her diet organic and healthy. Especially since I fed her a dog food once that was not grain free and it messed her tummy up. Apparently, she’s a little sensitive – but she loves these treats and I love giving them to her guilt-free.

Pooch Perks Options
As stated above, I received their “Pampered Pooch” box. It was a $50 box with $60+ in toys and treats. However, now they have changed their box options and now you have the option for a Sample Pooch Box that has 2 items from the previous month’s box at a super affordable price!
They also have their “Popular Pooch” box that has 4-5 toys and treats and their “Custom Pooch” box where you design it to meet your dog’s needs. All these options are totally affordable. It also beats driving all the way to our “local” pet store – like half an hour away – and trying to find the best deals and finding nothing but empty shelves where the deals were.
Pooch Perks is making sure they offer the best, clearly. Because they even have Speciality Boxes which right now include a Welcome Home Puppy Kit and a Happy Birthday Box (Which I WILL be getting for Maze’s birthday in November!)

Pooch Perks Products I Received
The February Pooch Perks box was in the theme 50 Shades of Ruff. How cute!? (:
Maze went absolutely crazy when I started opening the box (linked below). She loved it.
Here are the products she got in her box:
If I were a dog, I would go crazy over this, and she does. As a pet owner, I absolutely love it. It just feels so thick and durable! It’s not something she will tear up easily and I just love that. I hope to take her in some water this summer so it’s also a definite plus that it floats!
I initially thought this was just a plush toy, but it has a squeaker too. Win! Maze loves squeaky toys. Especially this one!
This doesn’t have a squeaker nor stuffing, but it has that crinkle material and I don’t know about your pooch, but mine LOVES it. This box came at just the right time because I had just accidentally ripped the back on her crinkle snowman a few weeks prior, so she was happy to get a new one.
Seriously I had no idea they had DOG wine! As a mom who loves wine, I found this super funny and cute. It also fit in well with the whole Valentine’s theme. Wine on V-day! 😉
This company makes their dog snacks in small batches and includes real ingredients! I just love feeling good about what I give my doggie! I also love that PoochPerks cares so much to deliver high-quality treats in their boxes!
I was curious about these. How can you have something like this without all the preservatives? But Sally Snacks figured it out! They are made in the USA with dehydrated New Zeland grass fed venison meat and turmeric. That’s it. Nothing else.
I like the packaging on these. Kind of makes me feel like I’m treating her to a cup of frozen yogurt or something. And again, they are healthy – they are grain-free, made with real ingredients and made right here in the USA!
A++ for all the items Maze received!
Bottom Line for PoochPerks
The bottom line is PoochPerks seems to want to provide quality products to their customers and I seriously love that. I like knowing what’s going into my dog the same as I like knowing what I give Little A. So when Alexis wants to give her 3 treats in a row, I don’t have to worry about any kind of preservatives messing up her system.
Their toys are also high quality. There isn’t one toy that Maze hasn’t shown extensive interest in. She loves them all.
I would recommend PoochPerks to anyone with a puppy they want to spoil! Soon I will be subscribing to get the monthly box, as soon as finances get settled and I will most definitely get her the birthday box every year for her birthday!
