Welcome to the 15th Thoughtful Thursday linkup! We didn’t have one last week because my fiancé was off work for the week and we spent time together as a family, computer free for the most part. However, I do have something to show you guys! We worked on a few projects, but didn’t complete but a couple. My closet was the main “project”. I am in LOVE with it now. It’s not totally done, but I will still do a post on it soon because it was actually affordable & it looks a million times better! So stay tuned for that!
Thank you to all those who join in on the fun weekly (or bi-weekly when life is crazy here). I am so excited to see this linkup grow! So don’t forget to share the buttons below so your content gets more eyes! ツ
Showcase these wherever on your blog! Especially if you’re featured! 😉

If you follow my blog, then you know I’m into teaching my child the important things in life. How to have a heart, how to be kind, how to accept people based on their heart and not their looks. So it’s no surprise that I have to share Jennifer Lambert’s 5 best Life Skills Books for Teens. In today’s time, we ship our kids to school and expect they will learn everything there. But will they? Will they learn to cook? Probably not. Will they learn basic etiquette? I think I may have missed that lesson.
We had a home economics class in middle school where we learned the very very basics of how to cook, sew, clean, balance a checkbook, etc. However, it wasn’t mandatory and I think there were only 2 sections available. We need to offer our kids resources on not growing up to be a confused little shit with no manners, whether it’s us teaching them or some of the books from Jennifer’s list!
Second Featured Post
I know during my pregnancy, maternity photos weren’t in the stars. I have very few photos from my pregnancy. You know, the ones here and there spaced FAR apart where I used them to judge how much my belly had grown. But I never just stopped and embraced photographing something that was only around for such a short time. I wish I had Labeling Chaos‘ tutorial on how to take awesome maternity photos be yourself! She did such a beautiful job using what she had and I wish I had done the same so this needs to be shared!
Thanks so much to everyone for sharing their awesome posts on last weeks blog linkup!
